1. what is observatine?

Observatine is an airplane that you can fly around in real time except that you don't have to be in the same place as the airplane. You can fly it over the internet. Real space and internet users compete to fly the plane by getting in the queue.

2. how do i fly it if i am an internet user?

The airplane has a video camera in it. Simply click the airplane icon on the play screen in one of the offered directions and the airplane will do the rest. You won't be able to make another move until the one you have requested has been completed.

3. what is the chat window for?

The chat window is there so you can talk about what you see with all the other people.

4. can i see the plane in the flesh?

The plane has no flesh, it's made of wood and foam and bits of electronics. If, however, Agent All-Black is feeling resourceful, there will be an opportunity in some locations to fly the plane using a body interface which is set up in the same city as the flying field. Check the status reports for upcoming details. Agent All-Black is bound to show the airframe at modelling shows, clubs, museums, parties and dreams.

ZK talked to MvdP one time about building a balloon. She went and performed a bunch of experiments and discovered that an airplane was better.

Funny you should ask that. The reason ZK was introduced to MvdP related to the fact that he and a few other people invented the HIPcar.
